Why It’s Important to Remove or Trim Unhealthy Trees and Why Use Shade Shifters?

Most people limit their thinking about the trees on their property to how nice they look. But often, looks can be misleading.

In fact, the majority of people believe that healthy-looking trees mean safe trees. It often takes an expert to tell them whether trees and limbs can fall and become dangerous to their homes and property.

When people do think about their trees, especially in Florida, it is often as we move into the height of hurricane season. We wrote last month here about the importance of the health of your trees this time of year. You can review that article by simply scrolling down.

But another aspect of Florida and all of nature’s growth is that we need to be cognizant of how our trees are doing on a year-round basis.

With very shallow root systems and a propensity for rain, trees that are healthy can fall over. Even healthy trees can cause problems, mainly in the branches. If the tree is too full, water can collect and wind cannot find a way to get through the tree. In that case, it is more likely you need a trimming rather than removing the whole tree.

So, it’s important to have an expert examine your trees on a periodic basis. The question is, with so many options, who do you choose?

We’d like you to consider Shade Shifters for a number of reasons.

As a full-service tree company, we do it all – trimming, removal, stump grinding, land clearing, debris removal and emergency service.

We are passionate about what we do. We started Shade Shifters with one primary goal – to keep our customers safe and help make our community beautiful.

In fact, the highest compliment we hear from customers is that when we leave, their property is as beautiful or more than it was before we started.
